2008 Summer Camps 

Summer Adventure Camps are designed for children ages 4-7 and run from 9:00 a.m. - Noon, Monday- Friday. All supplies are included in the listed camp pricing. Camps are coordinated by Missouri Certified Teachers. All children participating in Adventure Summer Camps must be potty trained.

• Pirates in Paradise June 16-20
ARRR, Matey! So you want to be a pirate? Join us as we set sail on the SS Paradise and take daily adventures into the life of a pirate. Be prepared to learn about ships, maps and treasures or you just might walk the plank!
Cost: $99 plus tax

• Camp Wa-hoo! June 23-27
Enjoy the basics of camping out! We will explore nature, learn survival skills, sing camp songs, and cook up some real campfire favorites!
Cost: $99 plus tax

• Dinosaur Hunters July 7-11
Discover dinosaurs and their characteristics.  Take a closer look at the meat and plant eaters.   Learn the names and physical characteristics of many dinosaurs and how to classify and identify.  Activities include creative art, models, classification, dinosnacks, music, games, and a multimedia look at the dinosaurs from Mesozoic  time.
Cost: $99 plus tax

• Dinosaur Hunters II-Advanced July 14-18
Dino camp II will focus on fossils and dinosaur bones. Become a paleontologist as we dig for bones in the Paradise Park dinosaur dig. Reconstruct dinosaur skeletons using various creative materials. Learn to match skeletons to each dinosaur and create your own dinosaur in the art studio. Activities include art, model making, cooking fun, music, games, and short video clips of actual dinosaur digs including “Sue,” one of our regions favorites.

5-Day Summer Camp Permission Form

Go Kart Driving Experience Camps run from 9:00 a.m. -10 a.m., Monday-Thursday. Fridays are reserved for a rain-out day. All supplies are included in the listed camp pricing. Camps are coordinated by Missouri Certified Teachers. All children participating in Go Kart Driving Experience Camp must be 48" tall and above.


• Go Kart Driving Experience
Learn the fun of safe driving in this safety instructional camp. Campers will get the experiences and challenges of real driving; over steering, under steering, negotiating hairpin turns and stopping on a dime. Jump in, buckle up, and enjoy the ride around the Lee's Summit Subaru Go Kart Track.

Go Kart Permission Form

Payment in full (no partial deposits) is required in advance to register.

You may withdraw from a camp up to 4 weeks prior to the first day and receive a full refund.

Withdraw less than 4 weeks prior to the first day and receive a 50% refund in the form of a Paradise Park Gift Card.

Please understand we need this time to be able to resell the open slot that if you cancel. Refunds are not granted after the day a camp begins or if you fail to attend without notifying us.  If you are unable to attend, your enrollment may be transferred to a friend.  Please let us know of any substitutions as soon as possible.  Refunds require 2 weeks to complete.

If you must cancel your camp reservation, all requests must be done in writing. All cancellations must be approved by the director of accounting (Monica Kirchhoff) for processing. You can email Monica at monica.kirchhoff@paradise-park.com.

Paradise Park reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any camp that does not meet the required number of campers.
