8th Annual
“Family Fun Days” presented by Hy-Vee
scheduled for October 26-27, 2007, at Paradise Park
Paradise Park, Kansas City’s Premier Family Destination, plays
host to the 8th annual “Family Fun Days” presented by
Hy-Vee, October 26-27. Proceeds
from the two-day event benefit the Lee’s
Summit Visitors Council to promote local tourism.
Event tickets are good for any four attractions of choice from 10
a.m.-10 p.m. each day at Paradise Park. Attractions available for
individuals to select include: miniature golf, go karts, bumper cars,
rock climbing, foam factory, tractor-pulled hayride, and the children’s
edutainment center, which is a discovery play area for children nine
years old and younger. Ticket holders for the event also have access
to the sand volleyball court as an added bonus.
Tickets for the fundraiser may be purchased for $15 in advance
at Paradise Park or the Lee’s
Summit Chamber of Commerce offices located at 220 SE Main Street.
The ticket price moves to $20 when purchased at the door during the
event, October 26-27. Children less than one-year old are free.
The Paradise Park Café will offer food and beverage specials
throughout the event.
“Family Fun Days has become an annual family tradition in our
community,” said Linda Napton, Lee’s Summit Visitors
Council Chair. “It’s a perfect opportunity for families
to spend quality time together and support the tourism effort in Lee’s
Summit at the same time. We are thankful to Hy-Vee
for supporting such a great cause.”
The Lee’s Summit Visitors Council is affiliated with the Lee’s
Summit Chamber of Commerce. The Lee’s Summit Chamber was
incorporated in 1969 and is a voluntary, member-supported organization
of businesses dedicated to promoting a positive business environment
that enhances the qualify of life for all of Lee’s Summit and
the surrounding areas.
Paradise Park is a family entertainment center that offers a unique
mix of attractions, which includes a children’s edutainment
center and discovery play area. It is the only facility in the Midwest
to offer both a children’s edutainment center and a wide variety
of entertainment attractions for all ages on the same site.
