FUND-raisers are available on Monday-Thursday nights from 5-8 p.m. during the months of late August (after school begins) to early March before Spring Break (excludes all holiday and traditional school breaks).

Dates go quickly, so please contact our group sales department at (816) 246-5224, ext. 107 or e-mail us to schedule your fundraising event today. We suggest that schools schedule one date for both the fall and spring semester in advance to secure your preferred dates.

Why select Paradise Park?

1. Paradise Park is a safe, clean and friendly facility for quality family fun!

2. There is no work involved for your membership (no bake sales, ticket sales, set-up/clean-up, etc.). Just show up and have fun!

3. This is an easy solution to fall and spring gatherings that raises additional funds at the same time!

4. Paradise Park donates 10% of all sales during the time (5-8 p.m.) of the event to your school, PTA, church or non-profit organization for the first $1,999.99 in sales (must have a minimum of $500 in sales to be eligible). This amount increases to 20% for events generating over $2,000 in sales. We will also have a donation jar available at each point of sales to encourage loose change donations to enhance your efforts.

5. Parents don't have to cook! Paradise Park will offer dinner specials for your convenience. This includes a $3.50 meal (one slice fo pizza and a small fountain drink) or a $5.50 meal option (two slices of pizza and a medium fountain drink).

6. Build support, comraderie, morale and unity within your organization by interacting with and meeting new friends!

7. Students get to have FUN with their teachers outside of school. How about painting the principal's face in the children's edutainment center?

8. Paradise Park will create and provide promotional fliers to help you promote the event.

9. Paradise Park will create and provide promotional stickers as a reminder for your families upon request. The sticker reads "See you Tonight at Paradise Park" with our logo in full-color!

10. Simply reserve the date, promote it to your membership, show up, and make money for your oganization.

Helpful Hints for a Successful Event!

Paradise Park's goal is to help you deliver a very successful event that will be a wonderful bonding opportunity for all of the families in your organization. We see many schools, churches and non-profit groups organize their events many different ways and find success. However, we have seen through our experiences that there are several consistent tasks that are very important to holding a successful fundraising event. These helpful hints are described below.

For Schools and PTA Organizations:

  • Confirm that the Principal and Teachers are fully informed and on board as a partner in the success of the event. Their level of involvement will determine the success of your event!

  • Since this is a family event, consider having a contest between the teachers that will inspire their participation with their families.

  • Include information on the event in daily announcements several days prior to the event.

  • Handout FREE fliers provided by Paradise Park at least two weeks in advance, and promote it at the PTA nights during the months before the event.

  • Post the information on your school website and feel free to link it to our web site.

  • Share this event information with your local newspaper. Many publications and media partners will share this information if you provide them with a press release and make it easy for them to transfer the information. We can provide a format to help you with this upon request.

  • Suggest classroom contests. For example, award the students in the classroom with the most attendance at the event with a Paradise Park guest pass, available upon request.

  • Suggest group performances such as your school choir, band and/or orchestra. This can be an opportunity to feature one of your programs in a very public atmosphere.

  • Invite your school mascot to attend, or another well-known community mascot such as KC Wolf or Sluggerr.

  • Ensure that the FREE Paradise Park stickers are worn home the day of the event as a friendly reminder to families.

  • Promote the event with an e-mail blast to all parents.

  • Invite your teacher to have their face painted in the children's edutainment center.

  • Promote the pizza specials available at Paradise Cafe during your event. If a family does not have much time to play, simply feed the family and help support the event at the same time.

For Churches and other non-profit organizations:

  • Exercise some of the ideas noted above and apply them to your own organization. How about a neighborhood night with your homeowner's association?
  • Make announcements at weekly church services to promote the event to your members.
  • Include the information in bulletins and newsletters.
  • E-mail your membership to promote the event and include it on your web site.
